Headers are very cool and give your pages an organized professional look.
What are headers?
Headers are solid colored banners that look like this:
The coding for the header above is as follows:
Then, where you want your header, you'll put:
You can change the Text align to either left, center, or right.
The Background color can be changed to any color of your choice.
Where it says Color you'll put the color you want your font to be.
You can change Verdana to any font of your choice.
You can change Font Weight to bold, italics, underline, or normal.
And ta-da! You have a nice header to compliment your pages with!
Professional Headers
Changing the Width of the Header
Maybe you'd prefer a shorter header instead of one that stretches across the page. That can easily be done.
Then, where you want your header, you'll put:
The same rules apply to this header as they did to the previous one. Change the Width to any number, but DO NOT deleted the letters 'px'. (Stands for pixels)
Giving the header a professional underline
If you have a page you designed to be fancy, a regular boring header might not work so well.
The coding for the header above is as follows:
Then, where you want your header, you'll put:
Where it says Border Bottom is where you will edit the underline below your header.
Replace 2 with any number of your choice. The maximum of the number is unlimited, but looks best if it is either 2, 3, or 4.
Replace Solid with either dashed or dotted.
Replace where it says #91465D with any color of your choice.
If you change things up, you can get something flashy like this!
