PSP Blending Tutorial
This tutorial will show you how to make a blend on Paint Shop Pro. I used PSP 8, but it should work for other PSP programs.

First open PSP. I will be using these two images:

Paste them (CTRL+V) on separate documents, as shown below.

Create a new document with the dimensions shown below:

Copy one of the images and press CTRL+L on the new document. (FYI: CTRL+L creates a new layer) Press (M) or select the move tool and move the first image to the left. Copy the second image and press CTRL+L. Then press (M) or select the move tool to move the second image towards the right. The two images should now overlap as shown below:

Finally, press (S) or select the 'selection' tool. At the top where it says 'Feather', type either 20 or 25 px. In this image, I used 20px. Make a box around the overlapped section, as shown below:

Press 'Delete', and your final image should come out like this:
